Kikashi
Academy

利かし (Kikashi) is a forcing move, usually one made outside the primary flow of play.

My personal philosophy believes in utilizing proper game theory, strategy and timing to allow one to overcome a difficult opponent.

Its my earnest goal to share what I’ve learned from over a decade of martial arts, and to help others who may be struggling in their martial arts journey.

Why Private Lessons?

Private lessons are a great vehicle for a targeted approach to PROGRESS. Often students have specific training goals, questions, or just need instruction personalized to their goals.

Using private lessons students can rapidly improve their skill and fit their training around their schedule!

“Karl’s holistic approach to martial arts: Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and self defense has been a gift to me and my loved-ones. I learn something incredible every time I train with him…his wit and intelligence make lessons really stick. My girlfriend’s daughter was traveling alone out of the country then moving to college in The Bronx New York… I brought her to Karl and he gave her the baseline skills to protect herself and more importantly, walk and project confidence in just a few sessions. To this day two years later, she still practices what he taught her on me… And bad guys better watch out!

I endorse him fully and am happy knowing he helps so many..”

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
